FREEHALL

The villages of Freehall, Ringtown, and Topton are located along the northern and western edges of Longswamp Township. Freehall (Free Hall) is on the western edge of Topton, along Freehall Road. Ringtown (Jeffersonville) is north of the borough; the 2003 Brandywine Heights High School building is the village's landmark. Topton was a Longwamp Township village until 1877 when it became an independent borough.

The LTHS' Village Series booklet on Freehall, Ringtown, and Topton was published in 2020. It is available in our store.
