HENNINGSVILLE

The villages of Henningsville and Pilgerts are located in the southwestern part of Longswamp Township.

Henningsville (Henning's Tavern), located on the mountains in the southern part of the township, centers on the intersection of Woodside Avenue and Greiss Street. Pilgerts is nestled along Pilgert Street, which lies between MaryAnn Drive and Centennial Road.

"The Village of Henninsville" was researched, written, and published by the Longswamp Township Historical Society in 2019. All ten "Village series" booklets are available for purchase from our web store.
